Catalog restrictions
Overview
Some products in the Emerson Ecologics catalog may be restricted based on your location, professional credentials, or internet resale activity. These restrictions help Emerson meet legal requirements, uphold brand agreements, and support responsible product use. This article covers what to know about catalog access and availability.
Location-based restrictions
Some products in our catalog are subject to state-level restrictions. This means these products will be ineligible for shipment to specific states. Typically, state restrictions of this nature are applied to hemp products, but there may be restrictions on other products as well.

Restricted products will be removed from your cart after you select your address in checkout.
Ordering from California
California’s Proposition 65 requires specific labeling on some products. As a result, certain catalog items have two versions: one for California and another for the rest of the US. When ordering to a California address, ensure the correct variant is selected before continuing to the checkout.
Modality-based restrictions
Some brands on Emerson are only available to specific professions, and require that specific credentials are provided to be able to access them. Certain brands may only be available to licensed healthcare providers, while others may allow access to unlicensed but credentialed practitioners, such as certified nutritionists or health coaches.
If you’re not seeing a brand that we carry in your catalog when signed in, it’s possible that your credentials don’t align with the brand’s requirements. Doublecheck that you’ve signed the brand’s iMAP policy, and ensure that you’ve provided us with all your relevant credentials. If you have any questions, contact our support team.
Products restricted by brand agreements
You will need to accept brand agreements and iMAP policies from each brand before you’ll be able to order them through your Emerson account. If you try to add a product to your cart from a brand whose policy document you’ve not yet agreed to, you’ll be prompted to do so before the product is added.

You can also agree to brand policies within your account settings using aggregated or individual acknowledgements.
Internet resale restrictions
Emerson Ecologics prohibits the online resale of its products on third-party marketplaces like Amazon or eBay. Many brands in the catalog have strict policies to protect product quality and pricing integrity, and Emerson supports those policies by restricting accounts found to be engaging in unauthorized resale. Accounts that violate these terms may have their access, either to certain brands or to Emerson Ecologics as a whole, limited or revoked.
