Submitting your professional credentials

Providers

To set up an account and order from Emerson Ecologics, you must provide a copy of your professional healthcare credentials for review. A healthcare credential, such as a license, degree, or certificate, confirms you’re a qualified healthcare professional and determines your access to professional-only brands and products.

New accounts have seven days from their registration date to place one order without approved credentials. After the seventh day, your credentials must be uploaded and approved before you can place an order.

Note

As of February 1st, 2024, we no longer support international ordering. Practitioners must be based in the United States or its territories to use Emerson Ecologics.

Uploading your credentials

To prevent delays in getting credentials reviewed, we recommend uploading them directly to your account.

To upload new credentials in upgraded accounts:

  1. In the upper right-hand corner, select your initials to open the practitioner menu.
  1. Select Account settings.
  2. On the left-hand side, select Credentials.
  3. Click + Add to add a new credential.

You should upload credentials when any of the following scenarios apply:

  • You completed additional courses or programs and are requesting access to currently restricted brands.
  • Previously uploaded credentials have expired.
  • Your professional designation has changed.

Once we’ve reviewed your document, we’ll contact you to let you know if it’s been approved or rejected or if we need any additional information.

Note

Please allow up to 1-3 business days for credentials to be reviewed.

Accepted credentials

Submitted credentials must meet the following criteria:

  • The name and expiry date must be visible.
  • The document must be up-to-date (i.e. not expired).
  • The name on the credential must match the account holder’s name.
  • In English so we can verify them. We’ll need a notarized English translation for any credential in a language other than English.
  • Students must provide formal documentation from their school — student ID, transcript, or a letter from the school administration with the student’s name, program, and, ideally, the enrolment date and likely completion date.
Note

We’re unable to accept NPI numbers at this time.

Internet resellers

As described in our Internet resale policy, all internet resellers of health & wellness professional-only brands must have a licensed health practitioner on staff and provide their credentials for review.

While your credentials are under review

If you place an order during the seven-day window before your credentials are approved:

  1. Your order is placed on hold. It won’t ship until your credentials are approved.
  2. You’ll receive an email requesting your credentials. You have two days to provide them.
  3. Your credentials are reviewed. If you provide them within two days, your order remains on hold while the review is completed.
  4. Your order proceeds or is canceled. Once your credentials are approved, your order can proceed. If you don’t provide them within two days, your order will be canceled and you’ll receive a cancellation email.
