Shipping rates

The checkout displays shipping options and rates based on the entered shipping address. Some shipping options may not be available for certain addresses. We do not offer free shipping for orders going to PO boxes.

Same-day shipping cutoff times

We ship orders placed before 3:00 p.m. local time Monday – Friday on the same day. Orders placed after this time, over the weekend, or on holidays will ship the next business day.

Orders requiring a USPS shipping service, such as a PO box, APO, DPO, or FPO addresses, need additional processing time.

Please refer to the delivery estimates and details in checkout for accurate delivery times and applicable rates.

Heat-sensitive items

Orders containing heat-sensitive products placed after the order cutoff on Thursdays with overnight shipping are subject to a “cold hold” and won’t be picked up by couriers until the following Monday or the next business day (on holidays). Expect these orders to arrive on Tuesdays, and note that UPS delivery estimates in tracking information may be incorrect.

Products requiring shipment in a cool environment are subject to special shipping procedures due to their sensitive nature to ensure they arrive in good condition. We recommend ordering early in the week and choosing overnight delivery when ordering heat-sensitive products.

You can identify heat-sensitive items by the thermometer icon ( ) on product display cards and pages.

Out-of-stock items

Items that are out of stock when your order is placed can’t be shipped immediately. We will ship out-of-stock items automatically as soon as they return to stock, typically within 10–14 business days. We include out-of-stock items in pre-authorizations when you place your order but don’t apply the relevant charges until they are shipped successfully.

Drop-ship orders

We offer free shipping for patient orders of $250+ with delivery in 3 business days. Shipping carriers impose an additional cost of $4.45 on all drop shipments, including those that qualify for free shipping.

Large order holds

Large orders may be held temporarily to confirm the order is being distributed to a business. We fully support the resale policies and restrictions of all our suppliers, so we will place certain large orders on hold to review the details and ensure customer compliance with our suppliers’ reseller policies. This may result in a one-day processing delay.

International orders

As of February 1st, 2024, we no longer support international shipping and can only ship to addresses in the US and US Territories (Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Guam).

Price changes

All prices are subject to change without notice. We are not liable for errors or omissions. Please refer to the online catalog for current pricing.

Packing slips

We include packing slips in each Emerson Ecologics shipment. These slips include information such as products, quantities, and the order number, but don’t display pricing.

Shelf-life guarantee

Emerson only sells items that’ll expire outside three months, though we target six months or more. If you receive an expired item or an item is determined to expire within three months, please reach out to support.
