Shipping Rates

Shipping options are determined by the shipping address entered and are presented at checkout. Some shipping options may not be available to all addresses. Free shipping isn't available for orders shipping to PO boxes.

Note: The 3-6 business day shipping option for $4.95 is only available in select areas and displayed in checkout if the service is available. Orders shipping to Alaska and Hawaii are delivered in 10-14 business days.

Order Processing Cutoff Times

Orders placed after the times below can expect one extra business day in transit.

Note: Any orders emailed to our support team before the cutoff times above are not guaranteed to be fulfilled same day. To avoid delays in receiving your orders, we recommend placing orders directly through the website — learn how!

Cutoff Exception for Mountain Standard Timezone (MST)

For those following MST, orders may be fulfilled by our Lenexa, Kansas (LXA) distribution center with an earlier same-day shipping cutoff:

• 1 business day: 1pm MST
• Other shipping options: 2:30pm MST

Orders may be routed to LXA due to inventory availability and shipping address distance from this warehouse.

Heat-Sensitive Items

Orders containing heat-sensitive products placed after the order cutoff on Thursdays with overnight shipping are subject to a "cold hold" and won't be picked up by couriers until the following Monday or the next business day (on holidays). Please be aware that affected orders are expected to arrive on Tuesdays, and UPS delivery estimates available in tracking information may be incorrect.

Products requiring shipment in a cool environment are subject to special shipping procedures due to their sensitive nature to ensure they are received in good condition. We recommend ordering early in the week and choosing overnight delivery when ordering heat-sensitive products.

Out-of-Stock Items

Items that are out of stock when your order is placed can't be shipped immediately. We will ship out-of-stock items automatically as soon as they return to stock, typically within 10–14 business days. Out-of-stock items are included in pre-authorizations when your order is placed but aren't charged until they're shipped successfully.

Drop-Ship Orders

Free shipping is available for patient orders $250+, with delivery in 3 business days. UPS and other shipping carriers impose an additional cost of $4.45 on all drop shipments, including those that meet the free shipping threshold. Dropship services aren't available for international orders.

Large Order Holds

Large orders may be held temporarily to confirm the order is being distributed to a business. We fully support the resale policies and restrictions of all of our suppliers and thus will place certain large orders on hold as we review the details to ensure customer compliance with our suppliers' reseller policies. This may result in a one-day processing delay.

International Orders

International orders are handled by UPS or USPS and typically arrive within 1-5 business days. Please refer to shipping options in checkout when placing your order for applicable rates and shipping timeframes. Rates vary based on shipping destination, delivery window, and weight. A processing fee may also be charged by your designated carrier.

Due to extended shipment time frames, most U.S. territories (including but not limited to Puerto Rico and Guam) are not included in our two-day professional or three-day patient shipping guarantee.

Emerson is not liable for delays or losses due to customs or import taxes and is unable to refund orders or shipping charges for orders that are denied entry.

Shelf-life Guarantee

Emerson only sells items that will expire outside three months, though we target six months or more. If a customer receives an expired item or an item is determined to expire within three months, agents should escalate to Internal Support.
