An introduction to 3×4 Genetics
The 3×4 Genetics platform provides practitioners with an end-to-end genetic testing and analysis solution that empowers practitioners to better understand their patients and the customized treatment they need.
3×4 Genetics is not quite an EHR but rather a lab company. Providers can order labs for their patients and analyze lab results from within the platform. The workflow allows practitioner’s to review a lab result in 3×4 Genetics, including supplement deficiencies, and then recommend supplements with Fullscript.
Currently, this integration is available in the US only.
Integration setup: 3×4 Genetics + Fullscript
The 3×4 Genetics + Fullscript integration is set up and activated using OAuth. Because 3×4 Genetics is a single user per account platform, the 3×4 Genetics provider is the only user who can access the Fullscript dispensary.
To integrate 3×4 Genetics with Fullscript:
- Log in to 3×4 Genetics and select Partners from the navigation bar.
- In the Fullscript widget, click Authorize.
- The Fullscript authorization modal will load, prompting you to log in with your Fullscript credentials (username and password).
- Click Authorize Application.
- If your Fullscript account only has one user, the authorized successfully screen will load.
- If the dispensary has multiple providers (i.e., there are two or more Fullscript practitioners in the dispensary), a list of practitioners will be displayed. Select the Authorize button beneath the appropriate practitioner’s name.
Creating Fullscript recommendations in 3×4 Genetics
3×4 Genetics uses an embeddable treatment plan solution to load and create treatment plans exactly as you would in Fullscript.
To create a recommendation:
- Click the Patients tab from the main navigation and select a patient’s name.
- A Fullscript recommendation can be written from a patient’s profile by clicking Make recommendation with Fullscript beneath the Fullscript heading.
- The plan building tool will load as a modal. You can write and send plans as you would in Fullscript. Close the modal when finished.
- Refresh your browser to view the recommendation. If there are multiple recommendations, click on the recommendation’s send date to load its details.
Patients view and order their recommendations in their Fullscript patient account.
