Managing in-progress Rupa orders during your move to Fullscript

Providers

If your practice has in-progress Rupa orders when your account moves to Fullscript, those orders will continue without disruption. Patients can keep following the same Rupa instructions for orders that were already placed, and finalized results will appear in both Rupa and Fullscript.

This article explains how in-progress Rupa orders are handled throughout your move to Fullscript.

Before your account moves

Continue placing orders in Rupa as usual until your account has officially moved to Fullscript. Any orders placed in Rupa before your move will continue through the existing Rupa experience.

Tip!

You don’t need to stop ordering in Rupa before your move. Keep using Rupa until your account has officially moved to Fullscript.

What happens to in-progress Rupa orders

Orders originally placed through Rupa will continue through the existing Rupa patient experience. This includes patient instructions, kit tracking, and phlebotomy workflows.

Once results are available, they’ll appear in both Rupa and Fullscript. You can continue to reference Rupa for the original order experience and manage labs in Fullscript after your move.

Result notifications

After your account moves, result notification emails will come from Fullscript, similar to how you received result notifications from Rupa.

If your practice routed result notifications to another team member in Rupa, those notification preferences will carry over.

Interpretations for blood lab orders

Blood lab orders that were already in progress when your account moved will still receive a Fullscript interpretation once results are finalized.

Historical Rupa blood lab results completed before your move won’t receive a new Fullscript interpretation. You can still access the original report in Rupa.

Historical blood lab data from Rupa will continue to support longitudinal trend tracking in Fullscript moving forward.

What patients will see

After results are available, patients who log in to their Rupa portal will see prompts encouraging them to continue their care experience with their provider on Fullscript.
